Former DGP Vinay Kumar takes oath as chief information commissioner (CIC) of Bihar

 

Patna: Former Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar took oath as chief information commissioner (CIC) in a function at Lok Bhavan in Patna on October 1, 2026. Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain administered the oath of the office. Anjani Kumar Singh took oath as information commissioner. Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary attended the function.
