RJD MLAs stage walkout of the Assembly

RJD MLAs staged demonstration outside Bihar Assembly in Patna on March 28, 2011 after staging a noisy walkout of the House to protest against Nitish Kumar Government’s alleged apathy towards addressing the grievances of the cane-growers following closure of the sugar mill at Bihta. They displayed placards highlighting Bihar Government's failure to solve power and water crisis.

Welfare fund for dyers in Bihar soon

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was the chief guest at a conference organised by the Rangrez Jagran Manch in Patna on March 27, 2011. Addressing the function, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said State Government would create a welfare fund for "Rangrez" (dyer) artisans. The association also honoured Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the occasion.
