Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's Janata Darbar attracts huge rush








Like the other Mondays, this Monday May 16, 2011, witnessed huge rush of aggrieved people in the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Darbar. People feel it's the only place where they could get proper solution to their problems. The Chief Minister listened to the people's grievances with utmost care and asked the concerned departments to solve it.

Later, talking to reporters, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar demanded 50 per cent share of power produced by NTPC utilities in the state to meet the requirements of the consumers.

He said a delegation of NDA MPs had called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for stepping up pressure in this regard. “I have also raised it during meeting with Union Power Minister S K Shinde in New Delhi recently”, he added.
