Patna Commissioner KP Ramaiah and District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Singh visited Ganga ghats from Patna City to Danapur to take a first hand account of the condition of the ghats for the forthcoming Chhath festival on October 14, 2011. The Patna District Magistrate had asked the sub-ordinate officers to initiate physical verification of the ghats of their respective areas and prepare a list of dangerous ghats.
