On the first day of the National Book Fair in Patna on November 11, 2011, a book on Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was released . The book "Abul Kalam Azad-Ek Shakshi Pahlu" was authored by Firoze Bakht Ahmed in Urdu. Noted litterateur Uday Prakash, National Book Trust (NBT) Urdu Editor Shams Iqbal, NBT Assistant Director Rakesh Kumar and Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Public Library Director Dr Imtiyaz Ahmed were present on the occasion.
