The education department has sent a directive to Bihar
School Examination Board (BSEB) to modify their eligibility criteria. The BSEB
is holding the TET which is scheduled for June 11.
Meanwhile, 17 BEd college students under the banner of All
India Students Association took out a rally and staged strong demonstration
demanding inclusion of 2016-18 batch students in the forthcoming TET.
The police, however, stopped the protesters from going ahead
near JP round about.
Later, a delegation of the students met the education
department director and put forward their claims for TET.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad(ABVP) activists also took
out a procession from BN College to Kargil Chowk demanding inclusion of
commerce graduate in the TET.
