IIT-Patna signs MoU with University of Houston

The IIT-Patna signed a MoU with University of Houston (US) on research and training. As a part of this student exchange programme, 10 BTech students from different departments of IIT-P can now go to US each year for doing their projects.

11 Soochna Bhawans inaugurated; E-Samarth launched in Bihar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inagurated 11 information centers (Soochna Bhawans) in districts and also launched computer-aided learing for government schools E-Samarth in Patna on September 22, 2009.

With the inauguration of 11 centres, Bihar so far have 14 Soochna Bhawans. Twenty more will come up soon.

The E-Samarth has been launched at 244 middle schools across Bihar to impart comupter-aided education to the students of Class VI to VIII.
