Bihar Governor Debananda Konwar flags off Khardung La (la means pass in Tibetan; elevation 5359 m is a high mountain pass) expedition led by physically challenged athlete Suman Kumar Ranjit in Patna on July 16, 2009.The expedition is being sponsored by Health Institute Adventure Mission, Patna.
