Hundreds of members belong to Joint Action Committee of the Federation of University Teachers Association of Bihar (FUTAB) and Federation of University (Services) Teachers Association of Bihar (FUSTAB) stage dharna in Patna on July 27, 2009 in support of their 23-point charter of demands.They also submitted their memorandum, addressed to the Chief Minister. Teachers said that undue delay in implementation of UGC recommendations regarding pay scales and retirement age had forced teachers to fight for their legitimate rights.
