Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stones of a two University Grant Commission sponsored buildings, an indoor sports complex and building for Microbial Biodiversity and Biotechnology department on the Science College campus in Patna on July 25, 2009. The Chief Minister also released a souvenir on the occasion.The UGC has provided Rs 30 lakh for sports complex and Rs 20 lakh for Microbial Biodiversity and Biotechnology building.
