IndiGo Airlines started its operation from Patna on Saturday (July 4, 2009) with its inaugural flight to Bangalore via Kolkata. The Airport Director of the JP International Airport, Arvind Dubey inaugurated the airlines counter inside terminal building in presence of IndiGo Deputy General Manager (Eastern Region) Vijay Matta.
