Bihar CM Nitish Kumar at Patna airport
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar talking to media at Patna airport on April 28, 2009.
It is very unfortunate that precedence of nasty political game has taken over the issue of setting up of Patna International Airport. Its setting up at Nalanda (130 kms. from Patna), the constituency of Sh. Noitish Kuma the Bihar Chief Minister, and completely refusing to set it up at Bikram (only 30 kms from Patna) without caring for the Techno_Economic Feasibility Report, violates all the norms of any Project Feasibility action. Surprisingly, no corner of media has ever dared to touch this issue for the reasons best known to them. The Media of Bihar particularly will go for all praise of Sh Nitish Kumar even if he practically manages to lift the whole Patna Capital region and put it at Nalanda. How shameless not only the national media becomes but all the corners (government and private) intentionally maintain complete silence and shall always be maintaining complete silence (with no comments at all) on such political issues. And all such corners shamelessly continue to talk very big of Indian Democracy. How shameless and cultureless our political leaders and the majority of Indians have become. how do they dare talk of Indian public that these leaders have been duly elected. Is it not known to every Indian the way the Indian political leaders are elected.
