Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi was felicitated at an election meeting at Barbigha on November 3, 2010. Rahul Gandhi held public meetings at Sheikhpura, Barbigha, Hisua and Jehanabad seeking votes and supports for Congress candidates for the fifth phase of Bihar Assembly election to be held on November 9.Addressing the meeting Rahul Gandhi stepped up attack on ruling NDA government in Bihar and said the NDA government was trying to create a hype over the "non-existence development" in the state.
He said Centre had given Rs 1 lakh crore for the development of Bihar but the money was yet to reach the poor people of Bihar.
