Mauritius President Sir Anerood Jugnauth was in Patna on November 18, 2010 for a day-long tour of the city. Sir Anerood and his wife visited Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Public Library and was accorded grand welcome at Bihar Chamber of Commerce. Speaking on the occasion, Sir Anerood said Mauritius and India have a very friendly and diplomatic relation. " Our bonds are very strong and run deep", he remarked.In the evening, Sir Anerood and his wife visited Buddha Smriti Park.
