Janata Dal (United) held its state council meeting in Patna on February 10, 2011. State JD(U) chief Vashishta Narayan Singh presided over the meeting.Addressing the meeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said: ‘Bihari’ identity is the key to fight against the casteist forces to bring about socio-economic and political transformation in the state.
“The people should remain prepared to fight one final battle for their distinct Bihari identity, in order to herald the socio-economic and political transformation in the state," he said.
