15 injured in NIT-P students and AISA activists clash

Fifteen students were injured in a clash between NIT Patna students and All India Students Association (AISA) activists in NIT premises on February 15, 2011. The incident occurred when a group of AISA activists tried to stop the academic activities of NIT after halting the normal functioning of different Patna University colleges. They were protesting the death of BN College student Chandrashekhar, who got injured after falling from the hostel roof. Chandrashekhar succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in New Delhi.
