Saraswati Puja (Basant Panchami) was celebrated at JD Women's College with traditional gaiety and fervour in Patna on February 8, 2011. The Basant Panchami celebrations also herald the beginning of festival of colours Holi as the students of the college applied "abir" (dry colours) on each other's faces and sang devotional song to the praise of Goddess of Learning.
