Kavindra Rabindra Mahotsav begins in Patna
Two-day Kavindra Rabindra Mahotsav began at Mithila Charkha Samiti hall in Patna on December 10, 2011. The function was organised by Union Ministry of Culture as a part of the 150th year celebrations of Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore's birth anniversary. Bihar Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Minister Dr Sukhda Pandey inaugurated the seminar. Atul Chandra Bhowmik, former head of the Calcutta University Museum Department, Dr Shambhu Nath Singh, vice-chancellor of Patna University and MLA Arun Kumar Sinha addressed the function.
