Magadh Mahila College students took out candle march in Patna on December 20, 2012 to protest the killing of Sonali, a student of their college who was a victime of sensational triple mudrder case in Patliputra locality. They were demanding justice of Sonali. Patna University Students Union Secretary Anu Priya led the march while Vice Chancellor Shambhu Nath Singh, Magadh Mahila College Principal Dolly Sinha and several teachers joined the march.
