Department of Biotechnology, AN College, organsied a workshop-cum-training programme in association with Department of Planning and Development (Government of Bihar) on Parthenium menace and management in Patna on September 23, 2013. Planning and Development Department secretary Vijay Prakash inaugurated the workshop.Speaking on the occasion, experts said parthenium or carrot grass is extremely dangerous to ecological system.
