Nitish cabinet approves 25 proposals

Nitish cabinet held its meeting in Patna on August 22, 2023. A spokesperson gave the details of the meeting to the scribes.

The 25 agendas approved by the Nitish cabinet include the approval of the new Government Medical College Hospital in Saharsa. Along with this, an amount of Rs 35 crore has been approved for the recruitment of teachers. Patna, Nawada, Supaul, Samastipur, Gaya and approval has been given to build 10 Ambedkar residential schools in Darbhanga and other districts. 

Rs 259 crore has been approved for the renovation of Saidpur Nala in Patna. Approval has been given to build an engineering college in Shekhpura district. Along with this in Madhubani Rs 31 crore has been sanctioned for the court building. Doctor Rohit Nirala of Munger Sadar Hospital has been dismissed from service.
