Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary Inaugurates Sasaram Bypass Road

 

Sasaram: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) inaugurated and dedicated to the public the Sasaram Bypass Road, constructed from Benda to Mokar along the irrigation canal embankment in Rohtas district. The project includes an R.O.B. and a bridge.

The bypass road has been constructed at a cost of ₹122.39 crore. The project is expected to ease traffic congestion in Sasaram and provide better connectivity and smoother movement for commuters.

The new road is also likely to boost economic and social development in the region by improving transportation and accessibility.
