Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary inaugurates Seva Setu Abhiyan

 

Sasaram: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the three-day Seva Setu campaign and cooperation camp on Tuesday (October 6, 2026). Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the government aims to develop the tourist destinations in the region and increase the number of tourists visiting the area from around 50,000 to five lakh over the next five years.

He said the target has been set to complete the work to supply Sone River water to the cities of Sasaram and Aurangabad before next March.

Following the agreement related to the distribution of Sone River water, Bihar has received around three-fourths of its share of the Sone river water. For this, he expressed his gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
