Patna, March 27, 2010: The second day of Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Patna’s technical festival TECHNIKA’10 showcased students talents with a motto of techno-entertaining. The day started with the mind-boggling prelims of the event in which the participants designed a “Search engine” haunt to search for the given keywords through a collection of webpage followed by the Robotics event “Autobots” in which bot navigated through the obstacles, turns and mazes to reach the destination and prelims of “ Robowarz- war of the bots” were conducted.
The atmosphere of creativity and innovation was maintained by “Junkyard wars” and the paper presentations” Paper Chase” respectively. Events “Fire n Ice”, Micromania” and “Genesis” and Cad Venture-the architectural sensation” also caught the eyes. The most awaited event of the fest, gaming zone “Klick” consisting of prelims of Counter Strike, NFS and Ages of Empires were held.
The day ended with technocrats from over 25 colleges craving for more and with the anxiety for the finals of all the splendid events.
On 26th March, Birla Institute of Technology Old Students Association (BITOSA) Bihar Chapter also organized its first annual general body meet in which all the students of 2K6 batch of BIT Patna participated. On this occasion students of 1st batch of BIT Mesra were honoured.
