CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjaan in Patna

CPI national secretary Atul Kumar Anjaan addressed a press conference in Patna on April 9, 2010.
Anjaan said the country would have welcomed the situation had Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted the resignation of Union Home Minister P Chidambaramin the aftermath of the Dantewada massacre.
"The people of the country would have heaved a sigh ofrelief if Chidamabram's resignation owning moral responsibility for the massacre by Maoists killing 75 CRPF personnel had been accepted by the PM," he added.
