Top Bihar leaders including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal president and former Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, fromer Bihar Chief Minister Dr Jagannath Msihra and others paid tributes to former Union Minister and sitting Banka MP Digvijay Singh, who died three days ago at a hospital in London, when body of Singh reached Patna Junction on June 27, 2010 morning by New Delhi-Howrah Poorva Express.Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with his several ministerial colleagues, MPs and Legislators, paid their respect to the departed leader.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his party MP Ramkripal Yadav also placed wreaths on the body when it was taken out of a special coach attached to the train.
The body was then taken to Jasidih station en-route to Gidhaur in Banka for cremation.
