India International Sugar Conference (Sugarcon 2011) was held in Patna on September 12, 2011.Addressing the opening session, CK Mishra, principal secretary, department of sugarcane, government of Bihar, said the state government would extend all possible held to sugar industry. "Efforts are on to revive nine of the 16 closed sugar mills in the state," he said.
The conference was jointly organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Department of Sugar, government of Bihar.
