All party delegation meets Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi

All party delegation led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar called on the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on April 6, 2012 in connection with Bihar’s demand for coal linkage to Barauni  Thermal Power Plant and at least 50 per cent power supply to Bihar from NTPC’s Barh and Kahalgaon units. Other members of the delegation were Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Shushil Kumar Modi, Energy Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition Abdul Bari Siddiqui, RJD leader Gulam Gaus, Congress leader Sadanand Singh, CPI leader Kedar Pandey, CPM leader Vasudev Singh and LJP leader Zakir Hussain Khan. After the meeting with the Prime Minister, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and other members also talked to the media.
