Bihar Government to go all out to increase forest cover
Bihar Government is all set to increase state's forest cover to 15 per cent by 2017 from present 10.3 per cent. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave a clarion call to increase the forest cover to 15 per cent by 2017 while inaugurating a Hariyali Samagam (Green conclave), organised by Environment and Forest Department in Patna on August 14, 2013.
