Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar presided over a review meeting of Manav Vikas Mission (Human Development Mission) in Patna on February 5, 2014. Bihar Education Minister PK Shahi and Chief Secretary AK Sinha were present in the meeting. The meeting has set a target of bringing down the fertility rate to 2.9 per cent from 3.5 and infant mortality rate to 26 per 1000 and maternal mortality rate to 99 per 1000.
