Striking Bihar Government engineers demonstrating at the State Secretariat Gate on June 23, 2009. They were demanding immediate arrest of the killers of Yogendra Pandey, executive engineer of the Road Costruction Department, who was found dead at Sitamarhi Collectorate premises.Meanwhile, the three-day "cease work" agitation by thousands of government engineers in Bihar demanding a CBI probe into the alleged murder of an executive engineer of the Road Construction department (RCD) continued for the second day on Tuesday.
Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi appealed to the engineers to call off their stir.
