Robert Scott, Chairman of International Polio Plus Commission of Rotary International, gives away Polio Champion Award to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at a function in Patna on December 6, 2009.International Polio Plus Commission of Rotary International conferred Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with Polio Champion Award for his support and encouragement in endorsing polio immunization programme in Bihar.
Speaking on the occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the award was not a personal achievement but it was recognition to Bihar and all those who had been working for polio eradication.
