The 12-day long 25th Patna Book Fair ended at Gandhi Maidan with mixed reactions from the publishers in Patna on December 15, 2009. Some publishers termed it a huge success while the others repented poor sale.
The organizers, however, accepted the fact the two fairs organized at the same venue in a few days gap had hampered the business. Organisers claimed that the fair had done a business of Rs 30 crore including sale of books worth Rs 15 crore.
