Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the grants and subsidy to the Bihar Haj Committee would be increased. Mr Kumar was addressing Vishal Haj Sammelan ( Haj Conference),organised by Haj Committee in Patna on August 10, 210.
He said besides increasing grants and providing more subsidy to the committee, the state government was also duty bound to see that the Haj pilgrims are not subjected to any difficulty and harassment.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the Bihar Haj quota, he said Chairman of the Committee Hajrat Maulana Anisurrehman Kasmi would make efforts to increase it.
Bihar Chief Minister also released a book on Haj Pilgrimage on the occasion.
