Angry residents of Anisabad locality blocked the New Bypass Road and staged strong demonstration in protest against the death of a 10-year-old school boy and his mother under the wheels of a speeding truck in Patna on June 20, 2011. The school boy's sister and father suffered injuries. Reports said a local business man Dhananjay Kumar Singh along with his wife and two kids were returning from school on a bike when a truck hit the bike. Dhanajay's son Ayush died on the spot while his wife succumbed to her injuries on way to hospital. The businessman's daughter was admitted to a private nursing home in a critical condition. Dhananjay, however, suffered minor injuries.
