Private schools of Bihar protest mandatory registration policy
Private Schools and Children Welfare Association held its state conference in Patna on September 28, 2011 to discuss their strategy against the government's registration policy. Some Private schools of Patna remained closed on September 28 in protest against the government's move for mandatory registration under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The meeting decided to host a Mahasammelan (conclave) of private school owners at SM Memorial Hall in Patna on October 16, if the government does not heed to private schools demands.
