Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed the media after the smooth passage of Bihar Lokayukta Bill 2011 in the State Legislative Assembly in Patna on December 7, 2011. The Legislative Assembly passed the Bill by voice vote. The posts of Chief Minister, speaker of Legislative Assembly, Chairman of Legislative Council and Government employees were among others brought under the domain of the Lokayukta.
