Bihar Government posts criminals' status on web

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched the “Civil Consequences of Crime”, a new section in the State Home department's website home.bih.nic.in where the convict's name, father's name, address and details of the case are posted, at his official residence in Patna on January 15, 2012. The Chief Minister said it would be a major step towards checking crime in the State.
