Property worth lakhs reduced to ashes in New Market fire

Property worth lakhs of rupees gutted into a devastating fire that broke out in the New Market area (erstwhile known as Bakri Bazar) in Patna on April 5, 2013. No casualty has been reported so far. Several fire tenders were pushed into service to douse the flames.
