Birth anniversary of former Bihar Assembly Speaker Ghulam Sarwar was celebrated as Urdu Diwas (Yaum-e-Urdu Day) at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on January 10, 2010. On the occasion, the organisers felicitated Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad and Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan.Speaking on the occasion, Lalu Prasad and Ram Vilas Paswan urged the Muslims to remain united and continue to assert their share in the power structure for the development of Urdu.
