Nitish Kumar's 'Prawas Yatra' gives a boost to tourism in Vaishali


Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said steps would be taken to develop Vaishaligarh and its adjoining areas in Vashali district as an international tourist destination.
He was talking to reporters at the end of his four-day “Prawas Yatra” in Vaishali on January 18, 2010.
He said his “Prawas Yatra” to Vaishali has been extremely useful and he would take all possible steps to develop the area as an international tourist attraction.
Bihar Chief Minister said the government had formed an action plan for the development of tourist spots like Rajgir, Pawapuri, Bodh Gaya, Vaishali and Bikramshila.

On the fourth day of his Vaishali sojourn Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participated in “Janta Ke Darbar Me Mukhyamantri” programme at Abhishek Pushkarini and met Rajkumari Devi popularly known as Kisan Chachi at Circuit House Vaishali.
