Bihar Health Society signed a MoU with four private hospitals to provide training to ANMs and grade “A” staff nurses in Patna on January 28, 2010.The hospitals which signed the agreement were Kurji Hospital, Triploia Hospital (both in Patna), Duncan Hospital (Raxaul) and Kishanganj Medical College and Hospital.
It is a Bihar government’s initiative to check maternal mortality rate.
Bihar Health Minister Nand Kishore Yadav was present on the occasion.
