Bihar State Excise and Prohibition Officers Association held its meeting in Patna on September 13, 2009.The meeting unanimously passed a resolution urging the Bihar government to declare Excise cadre as a premier service. It also demanded hike in the salary of Excise sub-inspectors to the level of police sub-inspectors.
