Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inauguraed the week-long "Mahila Udyog Mela" (Exhibition-cum-sale fair by women entrepreneurs) at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on February 10, 2010. He also felicitated some women entrepreneurs on the occasion. He hoisted women empowerment flag and released a souvenir to mark the occasion.
Altogether 400 stalls, including 300 stalls by private entrepreneurs have been installed in the fair. Bihar government departments put up 50 stalls whre rest 50 stalls were installed by Bihar Women Development Corporation.
