A major fire broke out in Patna on March 28, 2010 in a makeshift settlements under Rajendra Nagar flyover. More than 500 huts and property worth several lakh of ruppees were gutted in the devastating fire. However, no casualty was reported. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and it took more than three hours to douse the flames. A cooking gas cyclinder blast was said to be the cause of the fire.Photo: Aftab Alam Siddiqui
