Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) legislatures demonstrated outside Bihar Assembly to protest police lathicharge on Nyaymitras in Patna on March 26, 2010.Earlier, Bihar Assembly witnessed an uproar with RJD, LJP, Congress and Left MLAs storming the well to protest against rejection of their adjournment motion seeking a debate on police lathicharge on nyayamitras in Patna on March 25, 2010. Later, Opposition MLAs staged a walk out.
Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse nyayamitras of gram kutcheries across the state who blocked the busy Dak Bungalow round about in Patna demanding regularisation of their services.
