Bihar Government's Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Department organised a seminar on "Archaeological remains of Patna and Nalanda districts" in Patna on March 29, 2010. Bihar Government's Art, Culture and Youth Affairs Department minister Renu Devi and its secretary Vivek K Singh participated in the seminar.
Dr SK Manjul, Superintending Archaeologist of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) said a large number of Mauryan-age monuments and heritage sites are buried under the thick habitations of Patna.
