Former Bihar minister Narendra Singh passes away

Patna, July 4, 2022: Former Bihar minister Narendra Singh died on Monday at a private hospital in Patna after a pro-longed illness. He was 75.

Pall of gloom descended on political corridors of Bihar after the death of Narendra Singh, who was a minister several times. After the death , his body was brought to 8 Polo Road where many leaders including CM Nitish Kumar reached for the last glimpse of the former minister.

After death, the body of late Narendra Singh has been brought to the official residence of his son and Bihar minister Sumit Singh where people from all sections of society paid tribute to Narendra Singh. Chief minister Nitish Kumar has also reached Sumit Singh's residence immediately after finishing the Janata Darbar program. He paid his last respect and tribute to Narendra Singh.

In his condolence message Nitish Kumar said that minister Narendra Singh was an accomplished politician and social worker. He said that the last rites of Narendra Singh will be performed with state honours. He said Narendra Singh was a strong fighter of the JP movement of 1974 and our old friend. He also had a keen interest in social work. He was very popular among the people in his area. I am personally deeply saddened by his death.  

According to the information received, the body of Minister Narendra Singh will be brought to his ancestral residence in Pakri village under Khaira block late in the evening in Jamui district where  his body will be kept for the villagers and well-wishers for the last glimpse. After which the last rites will be performed.
