BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal Criticises Opposition Over EVMs and Voter Lists

 

Patna: BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal on Thursday, October 29, 2026, criticised the opposition over electoral processes and voter lists during a press conference in Patna. The event was held under the BJP’s ‘Save Democracy, Eliminate Anarchy’ (Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao) campaign.

Jaiswal questioned the Congress and Rahul Gandhi’s repeated demands for paper ballots instead of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). He pointed out that recent Legislative Council elections were conducted using paper ballots through preferential voting, yet the Congress won only one of Bihar’s 28 seats and lost all four seats in Karnataka.
