Basava Raju, zonal manager (East), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), addresses a press conference in Patna on September 1, 2009.Speaking on the occasion, Raju said, downturn failed to put an impact on the business of LIC as the company had recorded 20 per cent growth. He said LIC had a rich market share of 60 per cent in insurance business in India.
